It’s a tall order and this one nailed it but, my favorite picture books are those that are not only fun to read and well written AND beautifully illustrated but informational. I homeschool my kids so I love being able to incorporate dozens of picture books per unit study we tackle. It’s so amazing to really drill in the facts about a topic with stories because they really remember them then! This one was definitely a must have!
