This book is truly a journey through Joe’s life and how photography has helped him grow, develop, and heal. He is an amazing artist and it’s incredible how much has grown during his career. I know personally that Joe is the same in person as he seems in the book- very much a deep thinker and insightful person always looking for the beauty. The books lays out his childhood and battles into his adult life where he finds faith and photography along with Madison. My only negative is that Joe is so well known for his street photography and there is none at all in this book- is all landscape photography. I would have loved to see how his style changed through these processes instead of just his photos now (I understand their desire to keep the book true to him now but a photo from each phase would have been incredible), however I do believe that Joe will release more books and continue to grow!! This book also came with slight cover damage-scratches on the top.
