This is an amazing piece of work! Take a journey through the experiences of a Black Man navigating his way through life one choice at a time. They say "life is determined by the choices we make" this book forces you to put yourself in the shoes of a Black Man and make a choice. After reading through the 100 journal entries and making 100 choices the question you should ask yourself is what kind of Man would you be? As a Woman, especially a Black Woman the question you should ask yourself is how can I love/support/understand a Black Man forced to make these choices? While Mr. Williams encourages you to choose your own path there is a lesson to be learned at the end of each entry. This book is like no other I've read. I encourage anyone looking for a quick, engaging read/discussion generator to pick up this book! I'd recommend this book to everyone old enough to make life-altering choices. This should be on the radar of every DEI/DEB & ERG leader at companies committed to fostering a culture of inclusion/belonging.
